The Second Annual Roadrunner Fun Run is ON!  Friday, November 17th

Why a Fun Run? We want to offer a FUNdraising opportunity that shares with our students the value and fun of physical fitness, while also providing an opportunity for extended family and friends to support our school.
How will we use the raised funds? They will be invested in improvements to our outdoor space, including improvements to the track and field, and the addition of an outdoor water fountain for students to use throughout the year.
AND, 10% of the proceeds raised will be donated to a non-profit selected by the Lee Student Council.

On-line registration and FUNdraising begins November 1st.  

Q:  What is the 2nd Annual Fun Run?

A:   A non-competitive run that allows our students to raise funds for charity and our school, while having fun with their classmates.

Q:  Why are we doing a Fun Run?

A:  We want to offer a FUNdraising opportunity that shares with our students the value and fun of physical fitness, while providing an opportunity for extended family and friends to support our school.  (Sure beats selling wrapping paper or candy bars!)

Q:  Does my student have to participate?

A:  This is a school wide event where all students will have the opportunity to participate in the run and the fun.  Students are not required to FUNdraise.

Q:  When will the Fun Run take place?

A:  The Fun Run is scheduled for Friday, November 17th during the school day.  The students will participate during their Special Area time.

Q:  Are parents allowed to join?

A:  Absolutely.  Come during your students’ scheduled time and run with them or just cheer them on.  Come early or stay later and volunteer to pass out water and snacks.

Q:  How will the FUNds raised be used?

A:  The FUNds our students raise will be put towards outdoor improvements, including the track and field, in addition to the installation of an outdoor water fountain .  Also, 10% of the FUNds raised will be donated to a non-profit selected by the Lee Student Council.

Q:  What cool rewards will my student earn for his/her FUNdraising efforts?

A:  Besides the personal satisfaction of reaching a goal, they will have the opportunity to earn some amazing items.

Every students will receive a Roadrunner Fun Run Silicon Wrist Band and a Fun Run Sticker.

Raise $75 – Students name will be placed on a star in the main hallway

Raise $100 – Students name will be entered into a raffle for a Micro Deluxe Scooter, and above

Raise $150 – Student will receive a Roadrunner Fun Run long sleeved tee, and above

Raise $200 – Student will have their name entered a second time into Scooter raffle, and above

Raise $250 – Student will receive Roadrunner Fun Run Socks, and above

Raise $500 – Student will receive a Roadrunner Fun Run water bottle, and above

Top FUNdraising Class will have a pizza and movie party with Principal Hewlett

Top FUNdraising Grade will receive extra recess time

School Goal of $25,000 achieved – Principal Hewlett will camp out in the chicken coop during the Community Camp Out event.
