Roadrunner Rundown – Lee Live!!

March 5, 2020

Roadrunner Families,
Lee Live is just over 24 hours away and we hope you will be joining us on Saturday for the event that puts the FUN in fundraising! This year’s theme is The Roaring 20’s and we will have a spectacular evening of awesome live music and fantastic food. Lee Live is our yearly event attended by current, future and past parents as well as Lee community supporters. There will be an exciting silent auction and bidding on live auction items all to support so many of our important programs. We look forward to celebrating our school with all of you.

Next week is a busy one with a number of events leading up to spring break, which is the following week. On Monday we will host our annual Book Fair in the library. Come and check out the latest titles to get your Roadrunner reading. On Tuesday we will hold our monthly PTA Meeting immediately after drop off. That evening, our fourth graders will present their Texas Program at 7:00pm. All are invited to attend.

Following spring break, there are some educational and community building events to put on your calendar. On Thursday, March 26th we will have our Maker’s Fair and Art Show. This special educational experience will coincide with a 5th Grade Pizza Sale, so come join us for dinner and an evening of fun and learning. Then on Tuesday, March 31st we are excited to partner with HomeSlice as they host their first ever fundraiser for Lee.

Lastly, I want to share my gratitude for the Roadrunners of all ages who participated in our Look for the Good project. It has been a wonderful week of uplifting expressions of thankfulness all over the school. Our Gratitude Wall was so popular that we had to expand it, transforming it into the Gratitude Hall. I speak for all of our teachers and staff when I say how fortunate that we feel to work with your students each and every day. Thank you for the trust you place in all of us. We are grateful.

See you at Lee Live!
