It’s Been a Busy Week
In language arts our vocabulary words were compete, hobby, and partner. Our sight words so far are Up, it, I, A, go, at, to, am, me, see, can, is, like, the, red, blue, yellow, green, and orange, brown.
We are now working on lowercase letter formation. This week we practiced c and o.
After reading the book Knuffle Bunny by Mo Willems we sequenced the events in the story and identified the characters and setting.
In math this week we played games which focused on the concept of more and fewer.
Friday, November 9th is Geography Day. There will be opportunities for parents to help with setting up and cleaning up, buying, cooking, and serving food, and various other jobs. Be on the look out for an email about ways you can help.
Thank you to everyone who came to conference with us on Thursday. It was such a treat to get to know all of you!
