It’s Been a Busy Week!
We added two new sight words this week – me and see. We also added the “Yellow” song to our list of color songs. The tune for yellow is “If You’re Happy and You Know It.” In handwriting we continued with “corner start” letters K, U, V, and W.
Our math lessons this week focused on 2D shapes. We sorted them into two groups – shapes with curves and shapes with no curves. We also continued to practice writing numbers 2,3,4, and 5.
Thank you all so much for the yummy Mama Fu’s lunch! What a special treat!
Spanish – Stanfield
We had fun this week playing a game to help up learn our number 1-10 in Spanish. We sang our color song and made a booklet so we could teach our families some of the colors in Spanish. The song goes to the tune, “Are You Sleeping.”
Science – Manning
This week we explored our sense of touch. We learned that the part of our body that we use to sense touch is our skin.
Science – Gonzales
We used our sense of taste to distinguish sweet, sour, salty, and bitter.
