This week we learned about oviparous and viviparous animals. We read the book, Chickens aren’t the Only Ones, by Ruth Heller and discovered a world of egg- laying animals.
Thank you so much to Kelsey Null, Mrs. Gonzalez’ student teacher. She was such a gift to us all and we wish her good luck on her next adventure! Friday was her last day. She will be greatly missed by all!
Thank you all for making Lee Olympics such a success! We all had so much fun!
Change of cloths
Please be sure your child has a change of clothing in their backpacks for accidents. Also, if your child has cloths they have out grown, consider donating these to the office.
Please return all reading book bags weekly. We are missing several Literacy Library books.
For the last few weeks of school it is very important to keep your child on their regular school and home routine. Children sense change and often become anxious. When routines remain the same it makes the school day go smoother.
As the year begins to come to an end, please be on the lookout for library books and other school readers. We will be checking out books for two more weeks before Mrs. Day has to close the library for inventory.
