It’s Been a Busy Week
We continue to work on learning sight words.
In math we are learning about number bonds.
We have such fun in Spanish class singing songs, dancing, and playing games. This week we learned that our bodies make music with the song “Mi Cuerpo Hace Musica.”
We began our study of rocks and learned how to categorize them by size, shape, texture, hardness, and luster.
This week in science we learned about land forms,
Friday, February 16th is a staff development day and Monday, February 19th is conference day. There will be no school on those days. Conference day is as needed. You will be contacted by your child’s teacher if a conference needs to be scheduled.
We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, February 14th. Please have your child bring their valentine cards Wednesday morning, as we will begin passing them out first thing. The party will be that afternoon at 1:00. Parents are welcome to come and help.
Grade level coordinator, Amy Doran, will be sending an email regarding goodies for the party.
Intentions for Next year
Please return the forms which were sent home regarding your intentions for school next year.
Lee Live is fast approaching! Make sure to purchase your tickets. It is a fun evening for adults to dance to great music, eat yummy food and socialize with friends and neighbors. You will also have an opportunity to bid on an awesome art project which your child has helped create.
