It’s Been a Busy Week
Well, the Great Gingerbread Hunt was our focus this week. We read many different versions on The Gingerbread Man. On Thursday we made the dough and then Wednesday we rolled it out and cut out our own gingerbread boys. After decorating them with raisins and red hots, we took them to the cafeteria to bake. We warned the people in the cafeteria to be careful, as these cookies are known to run away. When we went to get our cookies after lunch they had run away! We searched the school and asked teachers and students throughout the school if they had seen them. They all said they heard lots of little footsteps running in the hallways. We finally tracked them down. The sixth graders had found them and kept them safe for us. We were so happy that we decided to share our cookies with our 6th grade buddies
