Students participating in the Bluebonnet Challenge – the due date is March 21.
March 2 is the celebration of Dr. Seuss’ Birthday and the call to READ ACROSS AMERICA.
We are, once again, inviting parents to our homerooms and share the love of reading with our students.
In addition to celebrating the birth of Dr. Seuss we are also focusing on  the 100th anniversary of the birth of Ezra Jack Keats on March 11!
Keats has long been recognized for his focus on diversity in his children’s picture books.
Anyone who wants to read to a class will be asked to read a Keats book.  I am currently collecting a copy of all the books Keats wrote.
We have 20 homerooms for readers.
Please email or call Mrs. Day to let her know you are interested.  or
Thank you.

We are looking at adding Maker Space – type activities in the library this Spring.

Are you looking for a place for all those old tee shirts?  We need all sizes and colors.  Clean please.
We also need stiff “frame shapes” – old hula hoops, picture frames, bird cages, lamp shades, spherical frames… any size, any color, any material.
AND helpers – if you are interested, please contact Mrs. Day – or 512-841-3900.
