Throughout the year each grade level presents a special program. (6th graders present two)
For each program the students present a morning and evening show. You are welcomed to come at either time. In December the entire student body works together to present a program that honors holiday “Celebrations” of a variety of cultures.

3rd grade - Hawaii Program
Buy books at the PTA Book Fair in the library.
Visit your children’s class room during the Open House. Join other families for a picnic.
6th grade - Celebrate Freedom Program.
Have a blast at the Halloween Carnival;
children play games, sing karaoke, go through
the maze and spook house.
Buy tickets ahead for a discount.
Food is served by local vendors.
Geography Day, teachers and parents transform the classrooms into 6 different countries. Each grade level is responsible to create one of the countries. Each year the students spend the day in a different country. They learn about games and traditions, listen to music, and try foods from those countries.
1st grade – Thanksgiving Program.
The entire student body participates in a program that honors a variety of ways that people remember special holidays. Celebrations Program is performed three times,
twice during the school day and once in the evening;
the evening program fills up fast.
Before the holiday break the grade levels plan parties to celebrate the holidays. Look for sign up sheets near the classroom to volunteer to bring treats.
5th grade -African American Heritage Program.
Lee Science Fair, student projects are displayed in the gym and 2nd level hall. Students are asked to choose a project in the fall semester that they can work on until the end of January. All students are welcome to participate, 3rd 4th and 5th graders are required to participate. The winners compete in the city competition.
2nd grade - Mexico Program
Parents can volunteer to bring treats for the Valentine’s Day grade level parties – look for sign up sheets near the classrooms.
Lee Live a wonderful concert, fundraiser, and auction put on by the parents for the parents, teachers and staff.
4th grade –Texas Program.
Spring Break Chess Camp all students are invited to sign up.
You won’t want to miss this fun-loving competition
Students participate in three legged races, hula hoop and jump rope competitions, 100 dash, tug of wars and more. Come early and see the traditional opening ceremonies.
Noche Latina
music, dancing, food, and games with a
Latin theme to benefit the Lee Spanish Program.
Book fair is held in the library,
check out the great selection at good prices,
the proceeds go to benefit the library.

Lee Chess Club meets on
Wednesdays after school in the library.
Once a month the principal, Mrs. Elyse Smith invites parents to join her for the Principal’s Breakfast, this is an opportunity to, ask questions and get to know each other.
